LSU was bad against UCLA and has shown improvement each week. They still need to establish a better running game so they do not tire out the defense so easily at the end of the game.

LSU needs to run a short passing attack based offense and utilize Boutte/Bech and then Kiner in the screen game.
We just need to stay healthy on defense, cannot afford to lose anymore pieces right now.

The truth?
We beat a team we should have beaten on Saturday. I'm happy about that. Right now, I hope we are getting prepared for Auburn. We can beat them but we've got to play very well. I am hoping we do. One game at a time.

MSU may be worst in west but Auburn might be too. We will know more after this weekend
Any road aSEC win is a good win.
LSU has talent. And continues to improve Weakness is OL and LB and well coached teams will work hard against those weaknesses.
My concern after what we have seen from LSU coaches this season is this. Are our coaches good enough to capitalize on the other teams’ weaknesses and minimize ours??? We will see …. I fear 6-6 or worse but hope for better.

Eh, not so fast. He had a key scramble on the go ahead drive Saturday. He’s not a natural runner but the comparison to Jamarcus also extends to his running ability. When he gets going he can pick up some ground in a hurry. The LSU defense shouldn’t just assume he can’t run and leave a huge patch of turf in front of him.

Stack the box, bring pressure, and force Finely to make any decision past his first read - something he's terrible at.
Build a nice 3 score lead and attempt to establish any sort of running game that we can use the foundation of to be successful this season.

Mississippi State is almost assuredly the worst team in the SEC west and second worst in the SEC. Beating them isn't anything special. NC State is a red herring. Clemson has a young QB with the yips thanks to getting demolished by Georgia and hasn't been able to find an offensive identity since. Plus, in general, Clemson is good for an inexplicably bad game once a year. There's really not good reason to read too far into that one single game.
