This matchup reminds me of 2000 vs Texas and 06 vs Texas. BIGs are going to be physical.

They are just a shitty version of us. We are literally better at every position. Our biggest problem is staying focused the FULL 40 MINUTES. If we do that, I think we win comfortably.

Maryland isn't a great offensive team. I think if we score 70 we win. Minimizing turnovers and not taking poor shots will be the factor I think

They will prepare for Naz and KBW. Those two will be held in check.
But Emmitt and Days will catch them offgaurd and have great games.

look like they have good length, so Naz and Bigby Williams will have to battle the boards, I like the athleticism of our guards against their mediocre defense. I say we turn them over often, score lots of transition points, pound the glass, and finally beat a team by double digits....

My main problem with how we played today, esp in 2nd half, is how long we held onto the ball on offense. We burned up the clock all the time and tended to make rushed passes and/or shots at the last minute.
Our offense is too slow. It shouldn’t be. We have sped.
I’d like to see us really run our fast breaks right to the basket every time. Hope to get a foul call, or dish out 3 or 4 feet to a big, or dish out to perimeter. It leaves time for the rest of the players to be ready for an inside out/outside in.
And someone run baseline as well, occasionally..
And can we please press for a few possessions. We’re good at it, and the players love it!.

Playing with the same intensity as the first half today, for a full forty minutes. Maryland should be winnable for this Tiger ensemble.
