My little sister's birthday is the week of the Troy State game. She's never been to an LSU game, and I want to get her up here, take her tailgating, and then surprise her with a ticket to the game.

Is that a good birthday present?

Sounds good except for the suprise part. She would probably have a much better time tailgaiting, if she new she was going to the game as well.

great birthday present but i agree you shoudl let her know before hand, that way she's not all worried about not going to the game. She will have a MUCH better time knowing she is going to the game.

I've given LSU tickets for a few birthdays.

Last year I took my 14 year old cousin to a game, and brought her tailgating. She loved it! The next weekend she went to a McNeese game and called me and said she felt like she was at a high school football game compared to Death Valley!

Aprilfool my son is 17 and my girl is 12.Took my wife and the two of them to the NCG.At about two minutes left in the game my girl looks at me and says "this is the best thing you're ever given me".I guess I was shocked that my son wasn't the one saying that.Hell he's on the football team.Don't underestimate a Tiger fan becuase they might be 14 and a girl.

Buy her an LSU shirt for her birthday. When she opens it, tell her she will need the shirt for the game that night and give her the ticket. Explain to her that if she does decide to go and wears the shirt, then she has to wear that shirt for every remaining gameday of the year. We don't need any bad mojo.
