He also kept aranda and don't think for a minute a&m would not have paid him. He believes in O, unlike you guys. He probably knows a little more about the team and coaching than y'all do though, thank goodness.

What? Of course A&M would've paid him and that's why LSU made him the highest paid coordinator in the country.

Aranda has a stacked defense coming back and a couple of super stars that are also leaders. He knew it would be foolish to leave.

It's his defense, we all know that.

We clearly at least matched, and he wasn’t making a lateral move for the same or less money. He’s the highest paid Coordinator in all of football, pro or college.

He believes in his defense. He doesn’t need to win championships to advance his career, and this defense is going to be super fricking nasty. If he wants to be a HC he is better off staying at LSU and showing out than trying to rebuild A&M.

Right, and Orgeron has said repeatedly this is Aranda's defense and he has full confidence in him to run it the way he wants it run.

He didn't go out and pick Aranda, but I'm glad he inherited him.

He did pick out Canada. Then fired him. He then picked Ensminger. So if that fails badly, there is only one person to blame.

If the defense sucks, I'll only blame Aranda.

Dude chill the frick out. I know you like to hate on O, but fact is there is zero returning production, and two new major coaches. No one is saying the offense will suck, but if you can't admit with zero returning production AND new coaches, it could take some time to come together, in fact it most likely will. Hopefully the d can carry us until then. Fk

Listen, we have no returning production on 0, a new OC, a new line coach, and a new QB. Talented? Yes. Experienced? No. As I said, have some catching up to do. Unless of course you think experience is not relative. I know it is hard to admit, because it doesn't line up with your agenda. They will need time to gel.

He went out and got an outstanding and seasoned offensive mind in Slinger to put the pieces together. Inexperienced but talented players step up and do huge things all the time with a little bit of guidance. I have full faith in O and Slinger to put a dynamite offense out on the field in Dallas in just over a week. If you don't want to get behind O and Slinger that's fine, but get out of the way because the train is rolling though padnuh...

Good. So you blame aranda in state and Troy last year. I can accept that.

Why?

He is about to put out a top 5-10 defense

He doesn’t need to believe in O for that to be a good thing for him. He is going to advance his career more putting out an elite defense than trying to fix A&M shitty one.

False assumption that people blame the defensive coaching for those 2 loses.

Offense equally to blame if not more against Troy.

The frick? Dispute what I said. We have all of the pieces and a highly respected coordinator and QB developer in Slinger to put those pieces together. Or did I just make up the fact that he's been coaching for longer than anyone on the team has been alive? Not to mention a great OL coach hire in Cregg. The guy has won Super Bowls for God's sake. But I guess that's not a big deal or anything.

Again, if you don't believe in O and Slinger, that's fine. But don't pollute the board with your incessant negativity. Some of us believe we will have a potent offense are ready to ride starting in just over a week. We comin

Either "we comin" or we aren't. At this point, there really isn't much in between after all of the hype this off-season.

Nice Post

This is why I am very optimistic about this season. The narrative for us being lower to mid tier SEC is based off of lack o faith in coaching and inexperienced players. I don’t buy it. I think O has got the staff he wants and has faith in. This year should be really telling in the direction of the program.

If we are successful he should be rewarded if not time to start looking for an exit strategy

We have do many question marks becsuse so many of our offensive guys and defensive starters have never started a game. Moreover, many have never played an SEC game.
