It just seems wrong that since the ball went into the endzone and TCU had no opportunity to recover because of an error by the refs. I assume the call was right, but the rule doesn't seem right.

If Refs make the right call on the field, there would have been a scramble for the ball. Not paying attention by the ref at the goal line, may be the winning determinant.
