I would think it’s a combination of all 3 regarding this awful SEC season so far. I see no improvement. Quite the opposite. This club seems to be mentally out of it.

Pitching, hitting and fielding are subpar. It's not the coaches, it's the players.

This team doesn’t know how to rebound from adversity.

It stems back to what Jay said earlier this year: there are no leaders on this team. You’d think you’d get that from Tanks or Trav, but they’re apparently just not cut out for that role. This team has no Gavin Dugas or Trey Morgan shepherding them, and they’re lost.

There's probably quite a few teams doing a lot more with a lot less this year

All 3. The coaches chose the players who are not performing.

Just like Jays Arizona teams, bad pitching and fielding. Skenes and Crews aren’t walking back through the door

This team been micromanaged to death, and the result is typical of a micromanaged product.

Specifically, lack of pitching.

We’d have a winning record in SEC right now if we had this offense with last year’s pitching.

We all knew that we were going to take a step back on Friday nights, but Jump hasn’t been as good as Ty Floyd either and that’s a problem. Not to mention, for as rollercoaster as the bullpen was last season, pretty much every pen arm from last season regressed this season and the newcomers to the pen are devoid of talent.

Jay has yet to recruit and develop a good player on his own. Not a great indicator of what it’ll look like with him long term

To be fair, the freshman class on this team is really the first class where it was all him.

Mainieri/Cain was the one that got most of the commits from Kling’s class.

That is my opinion also. It appears he made some bad decisions on Portal players as well.
