I had a friend down from Minneapolis last year for the Bama game (yes turned out to be a bad choice). He’s a Vikings and Gophers diehard. Has been to plenty B10 venues. Anyway, he was beyond pumped to go to tiger stadium especially since it was a big game. At the end of the night once back at the house I asked him what his most memorable parts of the day were. He said he had never been in a place so loud in his life as it was when game started. Second, was the tailgating. Both blew him away.

I’ve been to Auburn’s stadium multiple times with LSU playing them and was impressed with the atmosphere and noise, especially the night games. That said, though, an exciting toe to toe game in tiger stadium at night is the very best, and that is a well-known fact. Your girlfriend should transfer to LSU or should at least come to LSU for a graduate degree, law degree, medical degree, etc.

Yes, and at night time Auburn’s atmosphere is even better than that of the swamp, which can also be a top atmosphere.

The loudness of the stadium is a direct correlation to the performance of the team and nature of the game. If it’s a boring game and/or the tigers are stinking it up it most definitely will be ‘nothing special’ and nearly empty in the 3rd quarter.
