can alleva be made responsible for the buyout for breach of fiduciary duty?
does he have a fiduciary duty to the school when dealing with millions of dollars?

This thread should be stickied. Mod's, do the right thing, keep this stickied all year. It will just get bumped after every L, and you know more are on the way.

I'm not an attorney, but I absolutely think this is a question the media needs to be asking. At best, it was an ethically-irresponsible contract with big-time conflicts of interest. At worst, it was a total breach of fiduciary duty that warrants a close look and potential investigation. If Alleva indeed as rumored took Herman's contract, merely bumped the salary down, and handed to Orgeron, there is definitely some potential violations being committed here.
Regardless, F.King Alexander signed off on the contract, hence he needs to answer the tough questions about it as well.

Said it earlier and I’ve never been one to make this threat but I honestly don’t see myself renewing my season tickets if O and Alleva return.

i don't blame you. I have been hanging on for quite some time honestly. Wanted to wait until miles was gone and this is the crap we get?
I got rid of my saints tix this year. LSU football will be next it appears. got rid of my LSU baseball and basketball years ago.

It certainly needs to be asked in public often. There's absolutely no explanation that excuses that contract.

this guy definitely has fiduciary obligations...just not sure how much of that falls on Alleva's nose

The contract/buyout is just appalling and more insane than the fact that O is actually the head coach at LSU. Alleva is a fricking shitstain.

Unfortunately, they aren't going to sticky it. So I added to the list of things we can do:
-keep bumping this thread

I guess the sticky request is being ignored.

Boycott the games until they fire Alleva..
Seriously.
Do you know how big of an impact just one single game of an empty stadium would make. Think of all the overhead spent on a single game with ZERO commissions from concessions and parking fees.
Worth a try..
