To our LSU administrative lurkers: We can and will re-start our donations to LSU/TAF, but only after leadership change has taken place.

Its STILL just A football game/games... Played by 18-22 year old kids....
This Ain't Kentucky where football doesn't really matter... THIS IS LSU that has an athletic department value of like $800 million dollar net worth... I ralize football is king at this school.... But to be fair SCHOOL is the key word here.... So to go off course A bit but this is A SCHOOL where education SHOULD come 1st....
I am very sad as an LSU fan since 1971 and AM A HUGE LSU football fan,BUT I deal with reality.... A lot of people don't really care how the team does until they see things going bad and then they punce.................

All you have to do is look at the upvotes vs. downvotes. They're anonymous. It tells a well narrated story without ever spelling out a word.
Is it possible that the LSU brass is seriously ignoring this blatantly obvious outcry over a criminal disservice that has been done to our beloved university?

When the athletics department contributes millions upon millions of dollars of revenue back into the academic side of the school, it's a big deal. Especially considering a statewide budget crises limits tax funding towards the academic side. When the revenue tanks because the brass has been allowed to run the cash cow of the athletes department (LSU Football) into the dirt, the academics will suffer and therefore tax payers will as well, as they will be forced to make up for the difference through higher tax rates.

Also, as misguided as it sounds, there are students who actually make a decision to go to LSU based on the athletic programs alone. I know that because I was one of them. I just had very poor guidance of options AND terrible timing for football (I did get 2 baseball titles and to spend time in school with Shaq though).
There are also studies correlating attendance to winning programs.

Write letters to board members, wait for a response, debate points of interest.......screw that.

I'm on the fence now. The atmosphere is depressing and I am not enjoying my experience. 8 tickets on the line
Stadium being less full at opening kickoff compared to years past is unreal.
Even considering this saddens me greatly.

I have 8 tickets. Prob going down to 4 after this year.

i had 8. Went down to 6. Now down to 4 with a parking pass. If O has a losing record and is retained along with alleva I think i will seriously consider being done until we clean house. I have a shite ton of priority points so it should not be a problem getting back in later if i decide too.

Sad situation. Went up in the west side club when they opened it, but kept my 4 lower west that have been in my family forever, trying to get a family member to pick them up for next year, no bites at this point. Breaks my heart that I may have to dump them.

I'm keeping my tickets for now. I'm not to that point yet. However, I think once my child gets to college I may let them go. The stadium experience is getting worse. There will come a day where I just watch it at the tailgate.
