when you say surpassed, that tends to mean that their program has passed us up which they haven't

Second of all, have you forgotten how the football team was this year? There is no way anyone can say LSU's football team was without a doubt better, as you seem to be asserting.

Yes, we can assume that LSU's football team will be better than 7-5. The recruiting has stayed the same or gotten better over the past few years. The only thing lacking last year was a QB b/c of the fiasco that occurred with RP.

Trust me, ACC football is not SEC football. Take it from someone who lives in ACC-land.

UNC was only good with Mack Brown, so that doesn't really work.

UNC is a wanna-be Ivy.

Only in the south. The northeast and north could give a frick about football.

That depends on next year. I think they have a shot of being a better overall program if we can't develop our recruits like we used to in football.

Basketball will just be like 2007-2008 next year.

Baseball, LSU is better overall (all of history). But, if UNC goes to Omaha this year like they're expected and LSU ends up losing in the regional they have officially surpassed us in baseball.

Well, then why did we pseudo-fire our defensive coordinators since it was a QB problem only?

Do you know ANYTHING about UNC football? How about their coach or the recruiting effort they have put together in only a few years?

Yes, I am a huge duke fan. If you are weighing football, baseball, and basketball equally at 33.3% per sport then UNC wins in basketball, is similar at least in baseball (some would argue either way) and worse in football (yet on the rise...more so than any other team in the country other than maybe Stanford). Thus, LSU big 3 programs > UNC's big 3 programs...by a little.

ETA: More than anything, you CANNOT look at a program over the course of ONE YEAR and be able to judge a sports program. If you do, you are just being ignorant.

LSU sports program > UNC sports program.

False. When's the last time UNC won their conference in football? And the ACC has been extremely weak the last few years.
