JD is the best player in college football and should win the Heisman. Said JD can’t help it if the LSU defense “can’t stop a nosebleed “.

Does his daughter still play on our softball team?

Ironically, having a terrible defense is more of a reason he should win it. The lack of time of possession on the field for him due to the defense not being able to get off the field, makes what he has done, even more impactful.

Aside from the A&M game, you could argue the defense was so bad and gave up so many points - many very quickly- that he had more opportunities to rack up stats and score.

You could say that but I can almost guarantee he had less possessions than the other candidates. I know Nix and Penix threw a lot more passes in 12 games than JD. If we had 3-4 more possessions per game you could say that would be probably 10 more TDs and 1,000 more yards… that is with a few stops and turnovers.

Wrong. Nix had over 80 more attempts than JD

She must have graduated. I'm pretty sure was on the team before COVID

My point wasn’t made in comparison to Nix. It was made strictly as it relates to LSU’s poor defense.

Just stop and think how good we could have been …. With a defense that could get off the field on third down

He did not really have many more plays than Nix or other Heisman candidates. Look at his yards per play and points per play
