I have only seen a few clips of him...How mobile is he? His great size and arm makes me think of a Burt Jones.... How developed is he for our offense?

Reminds me of Jamarcus in terms of size, mobility, and arm strength

By no means am I saying he’s gonna be a future #1 pick. I’m just saying those attributes are similar to someone LSU fans can remember

First player I thought of as well. Has similar throwing motion as well.

Huge upside. Needs a lot of work but that could be said for any 17 year old entering college. It's really encouraging that he is excited to join the team and get some bowl practice in. That is very valuable practice time. He will learn a lot.

You have to be mobile to run our offense. Not to be a downer or talk about the kid. But am I the only one who thinks he's not a good fit for our offense? From what I seen he just stands there and throws. Not that he's not capable, but I haven't seen him do anything other than stand and throw. Would like to see him on the run, can't have a sitting duck at QB. Competition he played didn't look to great either.

The dude is gonna get hardly squat for practice, he is gonna mostly watch.... he's not a true member of this years team, and they arent gonna be wasting bowl practice reps on someone who can't play in the bowl games.

Posts like this show just how little 350% of you morons know.

There are over 100 members of the team. Over 6 practices fields + the indoor & enough coaches/GA's/etc. While Joe & Myles are with the 1s & 2s, TJ will be with the non-playing freshmen + walk ons.

He will receive all of the reps he needs, in the Ensminger/Brady system that they're designing for him. Every rep will be videoed from at least 2 angles & will be analyzed in more ways than you know exist.

Not many are like Vick was. That’s a strong and polarizing comparison

Developed enough to play the role of Jalen Hurts for a few reps?

Once again, you illustrate how little too many with a voice on here actually know.

Bowl practices aren't limited to bowl practice reps. The time + value of these practices with the younger developing players in full gear + full rep mentality surpasses everything you think you know because you watched your HS Frosh + JV team move up to varsity practices after their regular seasoms ended.

He actually has run quite a few RPO’s and has kept the ball and ran pretty well with it. He’s no Plumlee with the ball, but he’s definitely no Mettenberger either.
