I want more spread up tempo stuff, but at the moment with the o line struggles, those concepts will get joe killed by game 4-5.
it could be argued that this is the exact reason we need more quick passes

T-Bob is full of shite. That offensive line was going to be just adequate before the season started. Heck, we were bringing in two jucos with the hope that they would be starters. Then we lost Ingram, so we started with an Ole Miss-level line. Then we lost our two starting tackles, so we were at a Nichols-level oline. We get Charles back this week, so I expect to have a Tulane-level offensive line for Auburn. When Magee comes back maybe we'll be back to Ole Miss-level.

I’m not an offensive scheme expert, but if guys are getting into our backfield, how about we spread them out and have less defensive guys to block from getting Into our backfield.
Seems like simple math. Why would we bunch (max protect) and give MORE defenders an opportunity to get Into our backfield?
More simply, if our formations are leading to 7-8-9 defenders In the box, shouldn’t we try to figure out ways via formation to get that number down to 4- 5-6 defenders in the box? I’d prefer a bad Oline to have less defenders to block than more defenders to block.

obviously not. he has never once been a coordinator

So you honestly think we're recruiting a level of athlete not even on par with SELA? Just want to make sure that's what you're saying.
Of course not, and we beat them 31-0. But SELA's left DE was better than our right tackle, that's for sure.

Traore? Everyone's been working him over.
It's not a lack of talent. He just doesn't know how to play the position. That's up to coaching to correct.

If you watch the game and see the left defensive end run by our right tackle repeatedly. Then run through out right tackle and a running back sent to help. I challenge you to explain that has anything to do with scheme
This is the truth. It doesn't matter what scheme you've got if you can't block anyone. People don't want to hear it though. Hopefully they've figured something out this weekend though or it'll be a disaster.

Enough with the childish "unqualified coach" talk. You're just regurgitating that crap from reading it on TD-you didn't come up with it. The powers that be that hired him believe he is qualified so you're above them? Nah

technically he said the players are a problem and that the scheme only highlights their weaknesses.
and with that I agree!
and with that I agree!

SE's scheme worked pretty good with Etling

If i remember Tbobs breakdown correctly, 15 out of 24 dropbacks, we ran 2 man routes while SELA had 4-5 defenders covering, because of max protect.
Where does Burrow throw the ball?
