Under the best circumstances he won't be lifting weights any time soon. I'm not sure how much weight he gained these past few months, but he's about to take a step or two back because of this. But its better to have this happen now rather than the fall.

wasn't it an ankle injury that kept him out of the Tech game? is this the same ankle?

Ford is the best rb on the team. Here's to a good season.
I think this is the year seniorship is thrown out the window and talent takes over.

bilj...what kind of route did d.peterson score on? Looks like other than that one, JJ had mostly 3 yard dump-offs.

breaking it in many cases leads to a quicker healing time. There are some things he can do to keep his body from falling back too bad, but the leg will suffer. Still, say it is an 8 week recovery before weights and he's lifting again just before June to get 2 solid months in.
He'll be ready for back-up duty by the NC game.
Sucks for the kid, but his heart is gold.

If you are saying fate is a bitch when it comes to TBob then I really feel sorry for you, and you are the farther thing from an lsu fan. I understand some people don't like his dad but that shouldn't have any reflection on TBob. I am pretty certain he broke his fibula and will be having surgery on it this week. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and let this just be a bump in the road

Is Brockers DE or DT? Some people here say he was rotating at end, Les said he's inside.

To me, this is the a bigger deal than him missing practice. Especially since he was light anyway. As far as depth, was Fore right?--are they gonna get Blackwell some center reps to move over incase Longeran goes down? I think I remember they tried Blackwell out there a couple of years ago or something.

per Shreveport Times:
HEBERT BREAKS LEG: Center T-Bob Hebert, who started 12 games last season as a sophomore, broke his leg in Saturday's scrimmage and will be lost for the remainder of spring drills.
"It's a broken bone. It's lower leg," Miles said.
Hebert will need surgery and likely wear a cast, but Miles expects him to be fully recovered by August practices.
"He'll have no long term residual issue," Miles said. "But it will certainly stop his opportunity to compete from this point forward until we get him back. This was a pretty significant injury."

I hate it for the poor guy, but does this have an effect on our starting line?
Makes the line better probably.
