Who the frick cares about this? Why do y'all not want the kid to start making money. Are any of his teammates bad mouthing him? Seriously, the only people that are butthurt about this are the people that have no right to be butthurt.

why though?

if I'm a coach, I don't need a player just standing around for 2 weeks being a distraction

Yep.

And, signing with an agent lets him get a jump start on the endorsement front and NFL training regimen.

How is he not supporting the team? Is he going to be on Louisville's sideline or something?

He's done nothing that would keep him from doing this.

It's not sitting out that should be criticized anyway. He's still rehabbing his injury from the season. Even if he was returning next year, he probably would sit out for the Citrus Bowl. For one of the playoff bowls, probably not.

What should be criticized is his decision to get with an agent so quickly that he now cannot be a part of the team. It really wouldn't have hurt him to wait a week. But oh well. You really can't call him selfish because dude was LSU through and through his entire college career. He even played while still being hurt.

I've lost all respect for anyone that has this opinion. What a bunch of entitled idiots.

And you know what? I really don't give a frick. It's not like your opinion on the matter is the alpha and omega.

Jesus get over yourself or get laid. Either/or.

there is really no evidence of that...but even if it were true, do you blame him? with all the turmoil around the team and a bad lingering injury all year?

you people build up these unrealistic expectations around these kids and then when they act like humans, you all turn on them

its the most pathetic thing I see on this board

You're bitching about a guy that was ready to make money. Him doing this does not keep him from supporting the team or being at the game or being on the sideline.

Your opinion is retarded.

Acting all butthurt because the guy is making money. Get the frick out of here with that shite. Go be angry about something that actually matters.

I'm not turning on him.

As a team "leader" though, I don't think he's handled himself very well most of this season.

I'm butthurt? Man read your shite. You're the one attacking and name calling. I simply added my .02. I don't know what your definition of butthurt is, but if I'm butthurt then you're in a complete irrational message board rage (which is ridiculous if you stop and think about it).

Oh no, message board user "noonan" has no respect for me. What will I ever do now?

You're something else. You have to be bipolar.

Go ahead and downvote this as well.

I've replied to people shitting on him for reasons that make no sense. Your opinion is dumb and you should feel bad.

anyone who has issues with him sitting out either 1. has never had issues with money or been broke. or 2. does not have a child to provide for.

I have 0 issues with him sitting out

I think you are all looking at this wrong, I think he could play, however his deal has been in place with Roc Nation for a bit. Hes probably had more contact with the agency recently, admitted the same to coach O, and O said i think its best you distance yourself from the program from here on out... thats just my opinion.

Did I shite on the guy? No.

I simply said, and I will say it again. Sure, I understand that he needs to start looking at the NFL and making money. I get that. I just thought it was tacky on his part to skip out on a team banquet in which he was given an award, and the very next day signed with an agent. He could have waited a week. That's all I'm saying. The money is not going anywhere. The agent isn't either. I don't see anything retarded about that at all. If me stating an opinion on this is butthurt, then this ENTIRE frickING BOARD is butthurt over something. Because the reason we all come here is to chime in with our .02 on different topics. You've got me confused with some of the clowns here stating that LF is an a-hole and turned his back on the team, etc. I'm not shitting on the guy. Just think his timing was kind of rushed and/or tacky.

It is my opinion though. Unlike you, I'm not claiming that "that's how it is and that's the only opinion to have on the matter".

You've lost respect for me, I should feel bad, etc. Who in the living frick are you and why do you think I would care? Nobody here appointed you the board expert and authority. And even if so, so fricking what. It's a message board.

What draft scenario you are seeing?

Fournette is the best running back in college, but he's still a running back. Some say Elliot has done a lot to change the perception of the 'interchangeable' running back but it is the Dallas O line that has made running backs. I would never spend a 1st round draft pick on a running back.

He's not just "sitting out" the game

He's straight up quit the team in every way.

He could have easily participated in all team activities and still chose not to play the game.

This is the bottom line and if anyone doesn't see it this way it's just stupid. He completely missed the awards banquet that was for "his" teammates. This was a complete selfish shite move and I think down the road he will regret this.
