Perhaps I haven't read enough of the posts, but it doesn't appear to me that people are upset with the prospect of Daniels starting.

On the contrary, I think most people are fully in support of whichever quarterback the coaches believe gives the Tigers the best chance to win. Simple as that.

I have moved my expectations to 6-6. Next maybe the year we make a run at championship. They are not even going to try to get that this year. Not enough players, too many holes.

This.

Almost everything right now is speculation on our part. It' hard to even have a meaningful discussion without enough reliable facts to come to conclusions. I've been a fan of Brennan since his time at the opening. Based on recent reports, I've been more excited about Nuss. If JD ends up the starter, I hope he kills it and leads us back to the SECCG and CFP. I certainly trust BK's opinion on it more than anyone here. Given the new players, new coaches, and new system, I'm not even sure if any of our accepted ideas on them is accurate.

Consider this though. Assuming as many on here do that JD would end up running the ball a lot more than Nuss, and also just for the sake of argument that the difference between them were otherwise a coin flip, wouldn't it make a lot more sense to start JD with Nuss as the backup than the other way around?

Also with Nuss younger, having more years to play and improve, and having given JD his shot even if it didn't work out, it probably makes a lot of sense for Kelly to go with JD to start if they haven't separated themselves yet.

It doesn't fit their narrative that's why young man has over 7300 total yards in only 29 games played and some in our fan base wanna cry for what?

I'll ride with Daniels. If he F's it up, put in Nuss. We got options.

I think most people are skeptical based on his 2021 season, the spring game, and the strength of the team being WR.

High school ranking for a class of 2019 QB doesn't amount to shite today.
