Maason Smith got hurt on a non contact play and I remember BJ Ojulari getting hurt as well

Smith injury was just a freak thing and could have happened anywhere similar to Beloso getting hurt in the pregame warmup

BJ's injury ended up not being serious

Did we have any other injuries in that game?

One year for preseason they put in some kind of real grass. I guess it was like Vegas. But Vegas brings it to sun after the game. I do not think they should get rid of the Super Dome. I think they should put a retractable top on it. Whatever it takes. If you can't do that then take the dome down and rebuild in same spot. It's the perfect spot.

Wasn't Beloso on the artificial turf area of the field doing the huddle?

Well based on OP’s topic of NFL players… they want to get rid of all artificial turf. Every field should be natural grass.
MB stadium in Atlanta has artificial turf.

They can do it indoors now but it’s too expensive for these greedy mofos in the NFL.

Kind of a weird mid-thread melt, but whatever

love the optimism but but they'd need a whole new building for that...

They can’t just put grow lights in the dome and have real grass?

I don't remember many injuries in the Natty. Was that the same turf as this years FSU game?

They just need to hire the proper experts. The ones that know how to grow a different kind of grass indoors.

I agree but where else would they put a modern dome? Warehouse district is a fat no. The dome isnt going anywhere after $650+ million renov currently underway with Broadmoor.

Honestly I will need some English conversion here. Thanks.

Please have someone drive you home.
These are the silliest suggestions ever.
The Superdome would cost billions to rebuild. Putting a roof on it would defy modern engineering.
And if you tried to "put in some kind of real grass," it would probably be so unstable that players would be twisting knees and ankles all night.
When they were training in San Antonio, the Cowboys tried to install a real grass field adjacent to the Alamodome. The players practiced on it one day and said no way.
