Re-watched the game....a few times...

And DAYUM, are those 4 studs

All 4 are very physical.

Damn Duverney ran thru tackle attempts all night. What a beast of a physical football player.

Chase grabs that damn ball physically. Reminds me a lot of Jarvis Landry.

And if there are two tougher QB's in CFB,I want to see them.

I love football.

I knew Duvernay was legit when he made Delpit miss two tackles in or near the backfield. That is not an easy thing to do.

I’m not as worried about our defense after a rewatch.

Also, O-line played great.

Thank you. Delpit will not miss another open field tackle like that again. Dude was a beast.

Good post.

Defense wasn't terrible but some cover issues with Harris. Stingley is the 5th stud from watching the game with his coverage.

The big beef I have is with that onside kick. Need to practice that for sure.

I agree they need to work on the onside kick but that kick was absolutely perfect.

Duverney was incredibly impressive imo. Hell of a player, and just a freshman.

Actually a senior. Wasn’t used very well before this season though. Seems like Herman is finally trying to get him the ball this year.

Duvernay's one of those fire hydrant players, 5'11 215 lbs, runs a 4.38. He'll play in the NFL without a doubt.

LSU has a "Duvernay" type WR. (Fast, strong, stocky, aggressive, sure-handed)... Devonta Lee.

Lee isn't as fast.

Duvernay has put on weight since high school. Not sub-4.4 anymore. Low to mid 4.4's. About the same as Lee.

3-Devonta Lee (6-2, 212, 4.4) Amite WR
A gamechanger, Lee has a tremendous catching radius and velcro hands. He also excels on hardwood. Looks to be an LSU-Alabama finish.

And Lee hasn't? Not knocking him, but I seriously doubt Devonta runs a 4.4.

Why? Have you watched his game video? He is very fast for big muscular dude.
