Has nothing to do with the Sugar Bowl Comittee - Check with a local New Orleans "tour" company for "packages"

Friend who did me a favor with tickets only

So is it a home game or not? Geez, spit it out.

IMO, when almost every "non-fan" (Cops, ushers, hot dog vendors) in the venue wants LSU to win, it is a home game.

all the talk about '78, '79, and '92. What happened in '08 vs Utah?

Dude, I live in New Orleans and have a block of 10 rooms booked as a preemptive move against gump bookings. I know several that have done the same. Enjoy your stay at the Buttrape Inn on Airline.

Does the BIA have color TV yet?

One of my favorite replies to a gump. Could we possibly get a banner display at the Superdome alluding to the rematch...something like "Rebama 9-6"

If the Buttrape Inn on Airline is full they may both need a place to stay!

I'm glad these are so relevant to a game being played in 2012.

And when you lose again, come back on Jan. 10 and admit that this Tiger team is better than any bama team EVER! You said it here and we will be waiting to hear you say it again!

I said if you win this game your team should be considered one of the all time greats. I wouldn't say it was better than any Alabama team ever. You'd have to think about 1979, 1961, or 1966 or way back to the 1920's (yes the 66' team was one of the best ever). And the game was different back then too. Since I believe this 2011 Bama team is better than any I've seen since the 70's I will grant you (if you win) that I will come back and praise this team as one of the best ever. That's a promise. I still think our offense and defense is better than LSU's this year, but punting/FG's are much worst. Its a team effort. I am guessing that most LSU fans would agree that this is the best LSU team ever.

Were you even alive for all of the 60s(20s) "championship" seasons? Could u even name more than 3 players on the teams u are talking about?

Your team is going to have purple and gold burned in to their eyes like a shitty plasma tv before the game even starts.

My father was on the staff from 1961-1986. I know several of the players from the 60's and I actually knew Wu Winslett from the 1925 team. I know Steve Sloan and Joe Namath well enough that they would know my name. A lot more of the players in the 70's.

Boys, boys, boys, bama1959 is at least 52 years old! Yes 1966 would be a great year as I was born in that year!!!
