The analogy is great!!

Until most of you posters that never even attended LSU or a member of TAF uou need to STFU

and what makes you think that just because you attended LSU or are a TAF member that you have exclusive rights to LSU baseball knowledge? That statement alone shows how immature and narrow minded you are.

You know, you guys are absolutely rediculous!
You know exactly what the message is and instead of being smart and commenting intelligently you choose to show your ignorance and how immature you really are. I'll hang up now so you can tear this one apart.

Sort of agree, but.........IMO we don't have the ability to "coach-up"
at the ticket counter probably

LSU has steadily started to class out die hard fans, and leaned towards the fans that are a bit more affluent and wealthy.

I just had to comment on this. Nothing to do with parking but what you are saying here is right to the point. I had season tickets to LSU baseball for 19 years.....1st row by 3rd base. At the new Box the best they said they could do for me is put me in left field. Guess what I told them to do with the tickets?????
Welcome home and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE.

While grizzly bears are generally
more aggressive by nature, black bears are actually very shy. Grizzly bears inhabit wideopen
areas with little or no cover. Therefore, if a threat is encountered, a grizzly’s only
option in some cases is to fight. Black bears, on the other hand, inhabit dense forests with
plenty of cover for hiding and avoiding threats, particularly people.

Looks like y'all got sucked in again.....6-6 at best
If our defense outscores MS offense we win by a nose. Otherwise....................

the stats say you can run on ucla and mahtook is our best base stealer, plus hanover has been making good contact.

ucla got lucky and guessed right, it happens. how often do you see a first pitch pitch out?

I've been watching baseball for many years, played a few years, and coached some,(albeit Little League), and I have never seen a steal attempt in that situation. Obviously UCLA picked up a sign. I think PM tried that because he knows our pitching can't hold up and we have to manufacture runs. I don't agree with it though because we have players that can hit. Poor decisions throughout the game, as usual. PM is a good coach, not great, and certainly not a "baseball genius". He was good where he came from because he could reach their expectations with the talent he recruited. He's getting out of the "Smoke era" now and his recruiting skills are coming to light. If we had Smoke as a recruiter (no coaching job, please) then PM could just stand on the steps and watch the kids win!!

re: LSU sent to Los Angeles regional

Think about it. The committee is doing it's best to prevent a champion repeat. Sending us out west to try to take away our fan base? won't happen. No one can convince me why we couldn't have been in a Texas, Florida, Oklahoma Georgia regional. Sad!

re: When did the Problems Begin?

Posted by willie on 5/17/10 at 6:39 pm to
The problem NOW is not with the team. It's with coaching. We have been in slumps in the past as all baseball teams have. In years past we had the coaching to help get out of the slump. PM said that he has never seen anything like this before so he has no idea how to motivate the team or get them thinking positive again..
quote:

Coach Mainieri talks to his pitchers and Micah Gibbs. He knows the score a lot better than any of us spectators. If he replaced Bert w/ Ott, he had his reasons, and I'm sure they are sound ones.

i think you need to face reality. PM has made poor decisions all year. He may be talking with his players but he's NOT LISTENING. Just he said he knew Rittiner was in trouble but decided to leave him in instead of pulling. (in Mainieri's words"..they figured him out" Result---TWO 2-RUN HOMERS! Wake up, man. The roses don't smell like roses anymore....
Quit making excuses for the team and look at the real problem. I believe it was the head coach who said that baseball should be played every day so it should be up to the coach to get 'em ready. And another thing.......it's not the game decisions that Mainieri makes it's WHEN those decisions are made!!
I know that Lynn Amedee was LSU quarterback in '60-'62

He may be a good qb but he is all about himself
The best fan??? How about the other 9000? Chris is merely a cheerleader. Are the cheerleaders at the football and basketball games the "best fans"???
