You guys can try all you want to say this is a home game but its not. It may have felt like an away game to Ohio State in 07' but Bama has won 3 NC's there (78', 79' and 92'). And of course we'll have 50% of the seats. Call it your house if you want but false impressions lead to big defeats. Its no more your home field than it is ours.

lulz, ask oklahoma fans if it was 50/50 in 03.....

You do realize people from New Orleans LOUISIANA control most of the tickets don't you?

The dome holds just a bit more than 34k.

Impressive... until you realize LSU will be playing in the dome for the 5th time in 11 seasons in a much more competitive time in the SEC...

As for the game 'not being a home game' for LSU, well, yeah, have to agree there. No matter the split, it will not come close to what it would be in Death Valley. However, I would bet my bottom dollar that when we win Bama fans will complain that it isn't fair to have to play LSU 'basically' on the road. Personally, I think that the game will be more even than some in this thread are predicting... people are underestimating the amount of Tide fans that will throw reason, logic, and common sense out the window in order to see Bama play for a title. You can bet that there are Tide fans that are returning their children's Christmas presents to come up on tickets. The ones that just couldn't pawn enough stuff to quite make it to Glendale a couple of years ago will not be shut out this time. I think that a realistic estimate will be a 55-60% pro LSU crowd. With that said, our fans will be so much louder than theirs that it will seem like there's 60K LSU fans in the dome.

Even if the tickets are 50-50 (which they won't be), playing in the superdome is home field advantage for us. It doesn't matter what the crowd is, playing in the superdome, staying at the hotels, being surrounded by louisianians the whole week in new orleans makes this home field for us. I wish you could understand what that means, but your from Alabama.

They are playing in Louisiana, they reppin the state brah.

ummm hey gump, you had 100k bammer fans to use to your advantage in BDS and you could NOT BEAT US! GayJ did not have to face any noise levels whatsoever. Now the tables are turned we have enough to cause mayhem on GayJ McCarron this time. domefield advantage. maybe not like baton rouge but it will be enough.

Anybody that thinks otherwise is outright wrong.

AL fans are buying them up 4 to 1 on LSU fans. Our fans have a take it for granted attitude.

Bottom line is AL can fill up a 100,000 seat stadium for a spring game while we struggle to get 25,000 in Tiger stadium. THe value of an LSU home game ticket to a vast majority of our fans is face, if that much. We think we have a bigger more loyal support base but facts prove otherwise.

Do what you can to get tickets because we need Purple and Gold in the Dome.

If you wanted tickets, you could have already gotten them online.

The prices are in the same range. None of them are "face" as many LSU fans think it is all they should pay.

ANd you do realize that at least half of those people from New Orleans are Tulane biased and have friends in AL.
