I'm sorry, but Bear is dead. LSU isn't a wipping boy anymore. The past means nothing.

this year bryant denny had a decibel reader on the scoreboard and the loudest i saw it get to was 114. For comparison our Florida game in 2007 got to 129.6

I was there 3rd row in lower bowl (same spot as 2007) and I thought 2007 was louder. Most people I talked to that went to both games agreed. Yall were more consistant this time, but Ive been in plenty of LSU games that were louder than that and Ive been to every sec stadium excpet south carolina. Yall are typically not that loud honestly.

OK. Opinions are like as*holes but I'll tell you right now and put a hand on the bible that USC was louder than tiger stadium in the Bama game in 2010. I was at both games. You're really missing a treat in Columbia. It was probably the most fun I ever had in a loss. It was almost a letdown in Baton Rouge a few weeks later. We lost both but your fan intensity was no where near South Carolina's. God's honest truth.

bama 2010 was weak.... I admit it. it doesnt make the top 10 loudest games ive been to in the last 5 years of having season tickets though.

2008 was a lot louder.

Agreed. I was there in 08' as well. It was a lot louder. You seemed subdued a little last year. Maybe it was too early in the day. Still hung over I guess.

I think we were down after cam killed us 2 weeks earlier, but I dont know. Hell, we were even louder for the ole miss game in 2010, which makes no sense.

Did you go to the LSU/Florida game in 2007?....think not...

Tough enough to go to all the Bama games. I make about 7-8 a year. I've been to all of our Sugar Bowls since 73'. About 10 I think.

No you won't... Ohio state and OU didn't have 50% trust me you won't, and this is Germans of you to post this....

We already beat you in bama shouldn't be a thing in NOLA!

You may have a few more fans there but the extra 50,000 seats tthat the schools don't we'll buy at least 20-22k of them. So put us down for 40% of the total. Its not a home game for you guys this year.

that's just a fantastically stupid statement. Bama fans won't get an opportunity to buy those tickets. Those tickets are going to Corps and Businesses and politicians and other special interest groups in the New Orleans area. That is decided LONG before the teams are ever announced and Louisiana residents are going to be fighting each other for those tickets. Yeah, some will find their way to ebay and stubhub, but not 20-22k of them.

I know you are Bama and believe you have been blessed with some God-given college football fandom superpowers, but it will likely be closer to 70-30.

Truly one of the more delusional and laughable statements I've ever read on here. (And that's saying a lot)

So I guess Les is a home bread corndog? Not. Try Ohio.

It was a painful process but we've learned to hire outsiders. Wouldn't trade him for any Bama homer on the planet. Saban has the best road record of any coach in the conference.

Best fun I've had in a week. Kind of like going to a road game. Call me sadistic but I like road games better than home games.

You guys can try all you want to say this is a home game but its not. It may have felt like an away game to Ohio State in 07' but Bama has won 3 NC's there (78', 79' and 92'). And of course we'll have 50% of the seats. Call it your house if you want but false impressions lead to big defeats. Its no more your home field than it is ours.

DO NOT “flame the board.” “Flaming” is the deliberate act of creating a post in order to incite members of the board and invoke a negative response.
