Yes, but they have a general idea of where things stand when they left.

Does not sound like he's coming

Hmm wouldn’t be my choice of where to take him. Those places are all over the country.. should have been back room at ruffinos with Ruffin himself stopping in

They wanted the best opportunity for exposure for their son. As Josh Allen proved this year, you don’t have to play QB at a P5 school for exposure. What O and E had to prove during this visit is that they’re going to put him in a position to succeed and allow him to showcase his abilities for the next level better than Cincinnati can. If they can’t do that better than Cincinnati, then why would he come?

This is the point I’ve been trying to make.

If Cincinnati offers a better chance for him to achieve those things than LSU, the program is in trouble.

Amazing that people can’t see that.

Why? Haskins has done nothing. Haskins couldn’t beat out Barrett who was not spectacular.

People have never seen Haskins play. Odds are he is just pretty good. In a long line of meh OSU QBs. But he is so much better than Burriw that he was named starter in the Spring. It wasn’t close

How can you expect people to see this when they actively pushed for “one of us” over what’s best for us?

Or they had to promise him the job. If they did that they should be fired.

Less pressure and more stability in Cincinnati which will allow him to basically do what he wants in the offense in order to set himself up as a high level draft pick. I don’t blame him.

And you’re right, that speaks volumes to the current state of affairs at LSU.

frick an little pansy boy that can’t handle competition presented by your coaches. I’d rather have the young man that fights for it than one that expects it. The coaches have an obligation to help this team win and motivate their players to perform better.

Nah, you want to secure that commitment when they're here.

That's why you take them out to dinner, show them the swank facilities, show him the girls. That appeals to emotion. The longer he's apart from that the less effect it has.

Hell, for all we know Burrow saw everything and wanted to commit, the dad stepped in and said let's go home and think it over, knowing exactly what I just said, that the emotions will wear off later.

If he decides on Cincy, this is a bigger case of “no chest” than Gunnar Kiel or any other for that matter.

And yet Battett broke their conference TD record.

Regardless how you feel about him as a QB, he was one of the most productive players in their entire conference.. why would they risk going to younger guys over that?

The two are not similar at all. Burrow has one year to show the NFL what he can do. That’s what this is about.
