Guys, I joined your board mainly to extend my sympathies and regards. LSU got jobbed and it wasn't even close...and believe me, everyone outside Tuscaloosa knows it, too.

Sorry if already covered, but can someone tell me what video the officials use to review plays? Do they even look at the CBS or network video.

i was watching the game with a buddy who's uncle is an sec replay official. he was telling me that his uncle told him that the replay officials don't have the same camera angles as network television, which makes absolutely no sense to me. why would you not want the people responsible for deciding the outcome of the game to have all the information they could possibly have? that's like asking a jury to sentence someone with only part of the evidence. total bullshite.

i know ive posted something similar in the "fire Redding" thread. But i made a thread similar to this one mentioning all of the biased tendancies of the refs this year in favor of Bama/Florida right after the game and it was hi-jacked within 10 seconds.

I have had people from all of our offices around the country send me emails (they are all acutely aware of my extreme love for LSU) stating how pathetic the officiating was in that game. I'm glad to see that not just LSU fans are bitching about the officials, they truly screwed up.

poor little pitiful lsu. the biggest bunch of whiners in the sec. even if the call had been overturned do you really think lee could have drove yall downfield. give me a break, Bamas defense dominated in the 2nd half and the offense scored 21pts to lsus 8. you had a total of what 14 yards in the fourth quarter. total yards 452 to 253. the games over Bama won GET OVER IT. :beatdeadhorse:

You mean Jefferson, right? Because Miles has hinted that Jefferson would have probably gone back in the game for the final drive.

Count yourself lucky, lucky, lucky. Or corrupt. This win for Alabama will forever carry the astrisk of bad calls against LSU. That's plural, pal. Bad calls. As for whining, I notice a fair amount of Tide whining still going on, on these threads, about a bad break y'all caught at LSU in 2004, one your fans feel cost them the game. Maybe if you can think, think about it that way and you might understand.

Yes, I do believe Lee and the LSU team would have taken that interception, and pushed or passed the ball into the end zone and beat your Tide.

Forever I will believe the official robbed not only LSU, but the whole SEC of integrity in Tuscaloosa last Saturday.

Forever LSU.

Yeah, because it's absolutely unprecedented for LSU to take the ball in the fourth quarter and put together a drive to tie or beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa...

Ohhhh, wait... 2007 ring a bell?

I know Kiffin's not a popular guy in these parts, but he did mention that he found the officiating rather odd when we played in Tuscaloser.

I was pulling for you guys and am incredibly upset. There's talk over on the Vols forums that we will happily chip in to help Miles pay his fine.

Speaking of which, has he said anything yet? I really hope he let's Slive and the officiating have it.

Best of luck in the rest of your season.

JP, I deleted the game on my dvr, but they are replaying it on CBSC, so I am going to rewatch it and point out a few more. The holding was terrible. Those are the ones I saw a lot and were not called.

You mean "poor little pitiful lsu", the team that led your overrated team for much of the game?

Lee, Jefferson, Ridley, et al. You acting like our offense was impotent is just typical brainless gump behavior.

Does that include LSU scoring in 6 plays from their 40 in the third quarter?

Look Inbred, your team played hard and won, but to ignore the many concrete examples of bad officiating is to lose any credibility you may have. And if the tables were turned, I'd expect Bama to do the same thing.

It's a insult to the players killing themselves on the field (regardless of the color of their jersey), to have the game affected by complete indifference to the rules by the officials and total incomptence, ESPECIALLY as it involves things like the spear to JJ that could lead to physical injury.

And you know if the positions were reversed, you gups would drive down the highway to the SEC office and shoot out the windows.

Please do. I will add any that appear to be an incorrect or missed call.

LSU played a good game. Y'all got a royal screw job by the SEC crew. I watched the game; and, I'm glad that someone here has the photos.

A lot of missed calls but they exist on both sides. They didn't call holding against either team. Even in the photo here (the apparent spearing), you can see LSu player #68 clearing holding the Bama player #25. Two major violations were ignored that aided LSU's first TD drive. For whatever reason, the officials just didn't hardly throw flags - on either team. The spot after running into the kicker was bad. But if it was a conspiracy, they would have falled roughing the kicker. I think running into the kicker was the correct call but I've seen roughing called for a lot less. You could fill a thread with LSU violations that went uncalled if you tried.

With all due respect, LSU was flagged 8 times and Alabama was flagged 4 times. LINK

LSU came into the game as the 16th LEAST penalized team in the country. Alabama came in at #48 in the country. LINK

There is a pattern here. Tennessee came into the Alabama game as the FOURTH LEAST penalized team in the country. A reasonable person can see that something is amiss.
