Move the SEC offices out of the state of alabama and we have no more issues.
Got it?

The only people that would have taken this poll obviously hang out on the ESPN website.

LSU also had plenty of time this year. If they hadn't touched the punter, then they would have had a shot. If Lee hadn't thrown a pick next series, then they would have had a shot.

You know that's not what I'm talking about.

But in bamas defense,if that 04 would have been called PI then bama scores, the momentum probably would have never switched to LSU allowing them to score big later in the game.

That's what gets me the most about these calls and no-calls.
They are huge momentum busters.
In college football momentum is just as important as the head coaches.

That being said the penalty did take place in the endzone with Bama in scoring position.

Regardless both were bad calls.

We didn't get hosed. We weren't good enough to overcome a bad call. LSU is in the same boat.

I wouldn't say in the same boat.
After bama went up by 2 scores LSU didn't have enough time to make up for the bad call.

04,bama had enough time to make up for a bad non-call.

Am I right?

bama was about to go up double digits in the first half. it completely changed the momentum of the game, but was not a game changer. We should've been able to overcome it if we wanted to win, but we lost to the better team.
Thanks for the answer.

Neither of us could figure out at what point of the game this happened.
I do remember it being a bad call.
I said it was a bad non-call.

That's the one thing that differentiates LSU fans from bama fans.

WE CAN ADMIT IT.

From now on, people will say that we were helped into the SECCG this year. It doesn't matter if most don't believe it and that it was just a bad call. There will still be a large enough percentage of people claiming we were helped to keep it in history.
what position you play?

Was bama ahead when the no-call pass interference in tiger stadium?

Was it as game changing of a play as the interception by Peterson?
I work with a bama grad and we're at differences right now concerning this.

Dude, the refs aren't always going to pick up on a small push like that. For the most part there is a block in the back or a hold on basically every play.

but the thread title states"no block in the back on julio's run"
You get boomed and change course to "dude, the refs aren't always"
Give me a fricking break.

What are you sugesting? Forfeit AU and Bama every year?

Only when their teams are competitive.
Why the hell go?
You'll just get your starters injured and still come away with a big fukn L .
I work with a bama grad.
He came in late and said nothing.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to get into the debates with the rest of us.
He's good people so I didn't bring it up to him either.

Why would you go to Alabama for anything anymore??????

I was talking about the football team.

Going to the state of Alabama

Posted by weeblewobble on 11/9/09 at 12:25 pm
for football games.

Is there really any reason to go there anymore?

Everybody leading up to this game said "you have to beat the tide and the zebras"

After the game was more of the same.
If it is going to be like this every year with a competitive alabama or auburn team then why even go?

I wasn't talking about the author.
I was talking about some of the responses to his thread.

But like me it seems some other posters don't realize he's being sarcastic.
there are other posters that want to get on board with this. :wtf:
