So some new offensive coordinator will all of the sudden be running the pitch dive?

agree, I think we tried to push guys into the wrong spot.

I think there were deals cut to get some guys to delay announcing for the draft. our LT was very slow and should have been a guard. Pocic should be LT. imo of course

My own interpretation is that Grimes may be moving on and Mawae may get his chance to coach the OL.

he should have been the fricking coach LAST year.... one of the best in football history at his position, wants to be at LSU, would probably not cost that much, and we STILL passed on him...

so who do we blame for this? obviously Miles is un-fricking-touchable to some of you dipshits, so who's to blame for stiffing Mawae, only to give the job to a coach that coached our OL into the puddin' bullshite we have now?

I hope Mawae gets a chance if this is true. There are NY Jets fans that want him to coach there bad next season. Les needs to offer him right after the bowl game.

Has Mawee ever coached anything at any level?

And what about Ensminger? Is he even still on the staff? I never see his name in these kinds of discussions.

Didn't get passed on just went with somebody with actual college experience, which is what every professional job prefers - EXPERIENCE

If Orgeron is leaving and Cameron is staying ........I'm going fishing a lot next year in the fall on Saturdays

Cam and Miles staying, Orgeron leaving, and Franks not coming. That would be very depressing.

This could be big.
How did you piece it together?

Unknown ability to recruit is a big deal. He's probably not willing to burn the road and spend tons of time chasing recruits.

However this year is different. Need stability. And we probably aren't hiring a big time OL coach.

Seems like a big jump for Mawae. And does he have the fire in his belly to run the roads recruiting?

at this point i dont care if mawae can or can't recruit; this staff needs to be balanced between recruiters and coaches and even the biggest miles maniac would admit the scale is tipped towards recruiters

Multiple Sources.

But for serious, BugaPainTrain says staff move is happening, someone says Grimes out/Mawae in, BPT responds with popcorn emoji. It's probably nothing, just me reading into things.
