Harris, maybe. I respect the effort that Oregon has put in, at first just to challenge the CA teams, and particularly Stanford and USC over the past approximately 20 years. I know it's tough recruiting up there, and keeping a quality coach hasn't exactly been easy.

Good luck the rest of thew way and make us look good.

Harris could have a shot but probably just be in the two deep rotation. I think Boyett could get some PT as well just not starting. Ya, it's tough with recruiting trying to sway all the top kids from SoCAL, who grew up big time USC fans, to come up to Oregon and play. Chip Kelly is a great coach who is pretty amazing at getting the most out of his kids which is the main thing we got going for us. That and Phil Knight I guess. Haha

Makes me feel a little better about the loss knowing this might be the best defense ever (possibly behind Miami in '01?

Thanks for the sentiment but this defense isnt even close to one of the GOATs...not even close.

That Washington defense in the early 90's was much better..along with the Miami '01...not to mention some Bama defenses I can think of. I would be happy if this defense was even close to top 10 GOAT.

Please please beat the crap out of USC. I want to see their sorry faces as they drive down the streets in their older model BMW 3 series sedans.

Not saying I wouldn't want to see the Ducks get back to the title, but I just think it would be a similar result with less sloppy plays. The Ducks are improving across the OLine and developing their inexperienced WR core. Hopefully the season ends in winning a Rose Bowl. Way I see it, we already lost our national championship game; it just happened to be in week 1.

No doubt that the Ducks will be in the NC game this year if they didn't play against LSU in week 1.

I would take Oregon over any team right now except LSU and Alabama.

Oregon is still a top 5 team. They could very well find themselves in New Orleans. Maybe against us or maybe Alabama. The problem is the big 12 could have an undefeated team and are as always over-rated.

Wisconsin is looking pretty good too. I could see them running the table as well.
