What the hell is wrong with some of the people here? Winning at Texas in a high stakes game early in the season was a fantastic win no matter which way you shake it. I dont understand why anybody especially LSU "fans" would be trying to say otherwise.

yes, you are correct.

Texas at home in a nationally televised game where many people picked Texas, especially with the Coach O vs Herman hype, and both ranked in the Top 10 was definitely a big matchup. After the loss Texas injuries mounted and their weaknesses were exposed, but at the time that was as big a game as any other

And I also realize the counter argument to my argument. We just don’t agree on this subject lol However, I get what you’re saying about the end body of work, but it’s not like that. It probably should be in most cases. A top 10 win is exactly what it is.

Example, Ohio state “dominated” Wisconsin. Disregard the fact that Wisconsin also lost to frickin Illinois. Wisconsin was top 10 at one point so that’s awesome Why is different ?
it's not.

Your argument makes no sense. If you look at it that way, then Alabama has not played one ranked team and yet they are number 3. This whole committee thing is B.S.
there ya go. clear analogy.

You ever think that LSU beating them after gearing up all offseason for the game maybe put them in a tailspin?

If they had lost 2 of the next 3 maybe, but they didn’t. They lost to OU which is another quality team and then struggled to beat a lousy Kansas team and lost by 10 to a mediocre TCU. They could rally and finish 9-3 (hopefully) or crumble and go 7-5. If the latter then it won’t look as good for LSU, it just won’t. The good news for LSU is it won’t matter at all if we win Saturday. If we don’t it could hurt us if they crumble but if Auburn and Florida do well it will counter act Texas.

Well Wisconsin is still ranked and dominated a ranked Michigan as well as some other scrubs. No one is forgetting they lost to Illinois but some of you act like that should invalidate everything else they did. You can judge teams on multiple factors

They also haven’t lost and have more or less clobbered everyone. Why does them being 3, when they are 1 or 2 in the other polls make the committee bs? Where do you figure the all knowing “unbiased” computers have them ranked?

It was a top 10 win. And one of their losses is to us.

This is the week where Negatigers are not funny. I mean we need these worthless sub primate POS for dark comedy. But this is the week there should be little toleration and we ask God why certain mentalities exist. Don't tell me the Good Lord does not have a sense of humor LOL!

They arent even ranked. And our 2 great wins are at home.

They were a Top 10 team when we played them, Douche. It doesn't really matter what you say or how you spin it, it was a great win.

Amazing.... Paul Finbaum credits bama for their win over a1m, and has said that "they were ranked when bama played them" as his justification as to why that's a good win. So why not do the same?
