This is a message board and the topics have absolutely nothing to do with how the team prepares or who they focus on. Why is this so hard to understand?

Do you really believe that the team exists in total isolation from the surrounding community? Go ask the Badgers if they wish everyone would have focussed less upon the buckeyes last week. When everyone around the team behaves as if a game is already won, it will get back to the team. A team with great leadership can overcome this. You are correct that fans have little to do with the outcome, but if it was nothing then the stands being empty would mean nothing. The effect may be very, very small, but it is not zero.
If you are really a Tiger fan, why would you do anything that could have even a small, small, small negative effect?

because auburn is the biggest game in the history of lsu football at the moment...Thank God none of you dumb fricks talking about bama play for the tigers

1. You don’t have to read the Bama posts

2. Fans don’t have to focus on the next game. WE ARE NOT PLAYING

This idea that fans have to focus one game at a time is one of the most idiotic things he in sports.

If any of those players or coaches were asked about it and said that the fans and the BadgerDroppings message board weren’t focused enough, they would be laughed out of the room.

I can see it now. Auburn beats us and Orgeron says in his post game presser “well ya know, we did everything right. We executed. We called the right plays. But our fans were just focused on Bama so we lost.”

They just don't understand how important the Auburn game really is. Lose to Auburn and the Bama game isn't as significant. If Auburn beats Bama, they win the West.

This is exactly why I don’t care that people post about Bama. The people on this board have zero input towards the outcome of the LSU/auburn game.

I live in San Diego, is it ok if I talk about it out here or is that a no go? Is there a certain distance from the players that future games can be talked about?

I'm really sweating this now because I'm stoked for the LSU basketball game that's being played at the Staples Center, should I not talk about that game so my surrounding community doesn't mess with any of our other games?
