1. I don't care about O's politics and frankly nobody should unless it causes an obvious distraction. Only 1 person seems to think it's caused a distraction.
2. That person is Ryan Clark. The dude is entitled to his opinion but as an ambassador for the school he is not entitled to drag his school and coach on social media just because he can. If he has a problem with O he takes it to him not Twitter. If he has seen the light and learns from all this then we are good. He can make a mistake and own up to it
3. Chase can do whatever he wants, he's not being paid, there's no contract. He was a great player for us. The timing was bad though, once he came to camp he needed to stick it out. But again, his mistake is forgivable. We'll get over it and life will go on.

1. Coach O is all about football. He would never get involved with politics while coaching football. His Trump comments were taken out of context-he was just saying the President treated the team and him well when they went to Wash-and he likes him because of that. There is no political statement here. Plus, Coach O seems to be friends with Gov. Edwards. So, nobody knows where he stands politically, and he doesn’t care. All he cares about is football.

He also said he supports the President in wanting College Football to be played.
Nothing wrong with this stance, imo.

All of this!

If RC is really has a problem with O then he needs to be a man and talk to him rather than be a Twitter bitch.

CEO doesn’t owe RC or anyone else a fricking thing.

I don’t think anyone is pissed at the decision Chase made, I think folks are pissed at the timing, and that’s valid. Chase will be remembered as one of the best to come through here by fans.

I’m glad chase opted out. I think more blk athletes should. If the majority of lsu fan base is like the ones on the rant, than why play for someone who doesn’t see you as a person but only as an athlete! If you aren’t beneficial to them than they don’t care about you. Everyone on here had a change of heart before, Chase isn’t the first and won’t be the last. But since he won’t be entertaining you, you wish him harm. I will be screen shooting post to show recruits how LSU fans really feel about them!

Chase made a decision that he feels is best for him, his family

This close to season? Its like quitting without a proper notice to me.

He was committed. He was deemed a vital and major leader. The timing of this decision would indicate that this is anything but business.

He will be drilled over this by NFL teams next year when the election is over and some of the weak minded have their thoughts back under control.
