That last Sony Brook team had seven players drafted and eight batters over .300 coming into the series. This team isn't nearly the quality of the 2012 team.

For a regional or super-regional, LSU is pretty tough to beat. Those other schools' fans are more fired up about their team these days and seem to put more actual people in the seats, but all the tailgating/cooking and fans during regional time combined with LSU's tradition of being one of the best make LSU a great place for a team to land.
