There is no reason, with all our money and tradition, That we should not make the CWS every year or contend for it. There is also no reason we should be hitting as poorly as we do after watching teams like Arizona, stony brook, UcLA, FSU, etc. it makes me mad and jealous to watch these teams. Something absolutely HAS to he done. Get a REAL hitting coaching, like the one the Angels fired earlier this year, and a recruiting coordinator. They don't have to be the same person even though they also could.

Not that I don't want a new hitting coach, but we did do this this year. We were 1 game away from a CWS appearance.

Last weekend yes. LSU is still the better baseball team. We beat them game 1 and had every opportunity to win game 2 despite having absolutely no offense all weekend. Even if SB would have rolled through the tournament and won a championship i would still feel like LSU lost to a team they should have beat. SB failing doesn't change my sentiment.

They are performing as I expected. Shitty pitching = 2 and Q in Omaha. We just hit the biggest team batting slump this year at the wrong time.

I am with you on this, I just want to know where all the idiots are that think our program is okay and we'll will be back next year. We were crushed in hitting 35-15 last weekend by a team who is finally getting a dose of reality. And I don't want to hear about how we won the SEC. Florida and South Carolina didn't win the SEC and they are better than us. A good team digs down and ups the game when it is time to. We don't do this. It's what separates the champs from the chumps.
