Nice job by Milam to stay with that ball. Also, Jones is turning into a really nice 1st baseman. He could already dig it plenty well enough, but his footwork is getting with more reps. He's waiting to stretch at the correct angle much better now. A small thing, but worth several outs on bang-bang plays throughout the season. He's not Tre, obviously, but he's not a liability either. Actually with his size and ability to pick it (helps being a former catcher), he may wind up being one of the better defensive 1B in the league.
