Stingley really went in deep when he had lisfranc surgery just to make it more believable. That is a dude committed to pissing off fans

To hurt to play and allow a sudden he is well enough to run. Naaahhhh

Has surgery, rehabs for 6-7 months, becomes healthy. Yeah, that's too crazy to buy

Solid times, but a 4.37 and 4.44 at a pro day isn't going to blow NFL teams away.

I suspect most teams expected a slightly better time from him to be honest.

Nah, he needs to stay. The idiots he is talking about need to just become Bama fans. You can go threaten players lives and such with them

am pretty sure what is sliding him down the draftboard has been his perceived lack of desire to step on the field and perform. Scouts have him pegged as someone that only cares about himself and not the team and that is a huge red flag for contract negotiations especially in the future...they question whether his main concern will always be his "next contract" as opposed to the teams success

Scouts don’t care about any of this nonsense.

good lord

Derek Stingley’s #LSU Pro Day results.

6-0 1/4
188 pounds
Arm: 30 5/8”
Wing: 74”

40: 4.37 (unofficial)
Vert: 38.5”
Broad: 10’2”

The 40 and vertical would have ranked Top 5 among CB’s at the NFL Combine, and both No. 1 among CB’s being talked about as first-round picks.

Coming off a foot injury? How stupid are these Coaches and Scout's?

People act like football teams don’t know their players play for money.

I'll wait for the quotes from NFL teams saying "Stingley really blew us away with his testing numbers today." He did about what was expected of him today.

A 4.37 is impressive at the combine...not at a pro day. Combine times are almost always slower.

Okay to compare the vertical at Pro Day vs Combine, not so for the 40, not apples vs apples.

Those aren’t really “official” either. The guy just chose the slower of the two unofficial times.

You literally just posted previously that you think teams expected him to run faster.

The top rated DBs in this draft ran the following

Ahmad Gardner 4.41
Trent McDuffie 4.44
Kyler Gordon 4.52
Andrew Booth N/A (didn't participate in combine or pro day)
Roger McCreary 4.50

Even if you want to add time to Stingley's 40 due to the perceived pro day bias, none of those other DBs were any more impressive.

Uh huh. Yes or No - you believe a major motivation for Stingley was to piss off fans?
