Mondo loses first outdoor meet of the season in Sweden of all places after 40 consecutive Diamond League wins.
He is getting married soon and said he wasn’t focused. Not using it as an excuse though as as in his words “he got beat fair and square”.

Probably be cause hes focused on being a trater to his country! Could have been a true american HERO instead he took the “easy path” pretty sad to think about

How many times do people have to explain why he is jumping for a country where he has citizenship?
Just stupid. The same people that want to pay football players don’t understand how a country pays more than another when his other country he has citizenship offers nothing and how everyone who is anyone in Track competes in EU.

Also, the USA was not going to allow his Dad to continue coaching him when Sweden did, so that was the main reason.

That statement could only be made by someone who only watches the Olympics and doesn't understand professional track. Any track athlete that has a choice between a European country and USA will pick Europe everytime. Just like all the best baseball and basketball players from around the world almost always play in the USA

I’ve read your post and the replies, how is “still undefeated” applicable if Mondo lost? Am I missing the sarcasm dont or something painfully obvious?

There’s an old saying about pussy being undefeated. He said he has not been as focused lately probably due to his pending wedding (I think it’s very soon)… he lost after 40 consecutive wins = pussy winning.
Women have been the downfall of many men and nations for that matter Helen of Troy is one example.
