Without Flau Jae, we may well NOT get past Alabama Friday night. Texas we would get on Saturday.

And that would be fine with me. Winning the SECt would not improve our seeding. Why risk further injury and play two tough but meaningless games against Texas and SC when you can come back home and rest and prepare for the NCAA tournament?

Their bigs outside of Morrow just aren’t good enough to help out.

Smith has been disappointing after what I thought was a promising freshman season and a strong start to her sophomore season before injury.

Wolf is producing about what she did at Arkansas. I was hoping she could do or give just a little more.

yes, I think they reach the elite eight. how much further they go is anyone’s guess. I think the only game they were out of was the S Carolina, the other losses could have been wins.

Williams can score, but lacking on defense and too many turnovers

Williams sadly the only one who can create for her teammates

Poa/SDW just can’t provide anything really. The two combined for nearly 30 minutes and had 2 points and 6 turnovers. Meanwhile our starting center Samayah played 30 minutes and scored 2 points and let ole miss bigs score at will.

We have a PG/Center problem.

Mulkey is tGoat but it’s been surprising how bad our PG play has been the past two years. Crazy we have three amazing pieces to an elite team and such a huge drop off after. Feels like it would have been worth Richard having growing pains with all the hype surrounding her preseason.

Depends on the matchup , any team with a legit 5 will be major trouble for this team.

Hopefully Kim can land a couple of post players in the portal, can’t go into next season with what you have there now.

Same goes for PG.

After the big 3 , the rest of the roster isn’t very good at all.

The skim milkey guy on X who is reliable said a few of the top freshmen in the game are hitting the portal. Hoping we are in the race because there are a lot of minutes we can offer

Richard is their best point guard and shooter. Mulkey should have been playing Del Rosario 10 to 15 mins a night. You can teach her height and size. Live with some of her mistakes that's what coaching is. One offense they need to mix in some motion office with their NBA sets to free up people. Also play some high and low ball with jersey at the free throw line and morrow down low. Run Big 4 and MK 12 on the baseline for quick hits. Mulkey making the game to hard.

They need to sit our starters…..they are all worn down and basically play the entire game. Sacrifice the SEC Tourney for rest and development.

Gilbert has the ability, but she is so reckless. SaMyah is really good on D, but invisible of offense. Wolfenbarger is still trying to figure out being a big instead of playing wing. Shepard and Day-Wilson are just bodies. They are adding little. Overall, the big 3 will all have to be on for us to make the elite 8. Resting FlauJae is the right move. I only wish we would have started a week earlier to give her 3+ weeks.

You are crazy, they may win two and get to the second week, but this team is no good.

I think Mulky made a huge mistake not giving Richard more playing time early in the season so she could develop because she is the best point guard on this team.If she would have played her early this team would be so much better with her in the starting lineup. No doubt Mulky is a great coach but this year hasn't been her best.

Incoming freshman Grace Knox is 6-2 and will be a great 4. But it’s not fair to expect her to carry the load up front to a NC in 2026 as a true freshman.

With Smith and Wolfenbarger being the only veteran post players returning, I agree that CKM needs to strike gold in the transfer portal with bigs. I’m talking Aneesah Morrow or Angel Reese type gold or pretty damn close to it.

I’ve said that several games back . After the big 3 the rest of the roster is not that good. Desperately in need of a true big and a pg.

I would not trade our top three for any top three in the country. There are probably more teams than I can count on one hand that I’d trade our bottom ten for theirs.

Keep an eye on Wisconsin, whose coach is in her 4th year and about to finish with a 4th straight losing record. They've got a 6'4'' post that's averaged 18 pts, 10 rebs, and 2 blocks the last two seasons. She's beyond perfect for us.

I assume this is her. Much too early to speculate about specific transfers for next season but yeah, she’d be just what the doctor ordered.
