Alexander and Jean Francois being hurt.
If you can't at least slow down the run which has been a struggle since first half of MSU game than your in trouble.

Same thing happened when Dorsey and Alexander got hurt and before Jean Francois made his return.

MSU did nothing in the first half until RJF went out. Reason Florida had no trouble with their attack.

Stop it. That couldn't have anything to do with it.

Yes while it did appear that way, I'm having trouble understanding why we are having so many guys out of position. I understand we have new starters, but this is apparently the same D we ran last year, and all of these guys where here last year. How can we have so much confusion from guys who've been in this system for at least 2 years now. Don't get me wrong practice and scrimmage doesn't equal an actual game. But we haven't had just a few blown plays, it been a lot and were still doing it 5 games into the season.

Peveto does look lost on the sideline, maybe Mallory needs to go down there also!

They don't call the defensive signals and they don't set the defense. Guys still looking at the sidelines and looking at each other has nothing to do with who plays DL. Either we have a coaching problem or a leadership/understanding the defense by some veteran players.
After watching some of the D players standing around watching the action I'm wondering if those guys have what it takes to win.

I think not having a Craig Steltz in the backfield is killing us...

Dude go away we lost we got it nobody here has said Florida did not kick our arse. We are just looking for reasons the team looked so bad because it wasn't all Florida. Go lurk on you own teams sites and lick teblows sack all day long fig.

All we hear is how the LSU def line is so deep and so talented??

So 2 guys a little knicked up causes the entire defense to be like swiss cheese?

LSU has no injury excuses!

We had 2 fricking bye weeks in 5 fricking game weeks and now the team is so injury riddled it cant compete?

A lot of teams havent even had one bye week yet, are they so banged up they cant compete?

LSU has no excuses for the pathetic performance vs. FL Our gameplan was terrible. Peveto and Mallory need to be shown the door.

We got beat by 30 fricking pts and FL took it easy on us at the end.

Drake Nevis has played better than both of them all year.

Muddminnow you got it. Defense has been in a slow decline since Muschamp and Satan left,To score on us period use to be tough ,just a few years ago,Now we seem to be back in the Lou Tepper days at 27 points a game, what is sad is the talent is as good as it has ever been.If Miles don't do something his Co-def cood are going to start making Nick satan popular again

I think one of the main reasons is the fact that y'all graduated about 18 starters or something like that. You can;t replace that type of experience. The LSU team was sick last year. LSU has a great team with great atheletes but it will take time to gain experience for some of these guys. I think LSU will turn it around this weekend after that little wake up call last Saturday night in the swamp.
