Crying “injury” doesn’t wash. W.r.t. State, they didn’t do that even to La Tech. I’d like to think our 2nd teamers were better than La. Tech’s 1st team. W.r.t. UF, I’m pretty sure their OL has been injury riddled all year long. Our problem is not depth but coaching.

Yes while it did appear that way, I'm having trouble understanding why we are having so many guys out of position. I understand we have new starters, but this is apparently the same D we ran last year, and all of these guys where here last year. How can we have so much confusion from guys who've been in this system for at least 2 years now. Don't get me wrong practice and scrimmage doesn't equal an actual game. But we haven't had just a few blown plays, it been a lot and were still doing it 5 games into the season.

The QUARTERBACKS on defense yelling pre-snap instructions and assignments to everybody are gone. Result: Mass confusion and blown assignments. That's what Steltz and Sanders brought to the table. That's what all you guys that never even played high school ball just don't understand. Doesn't matter if you have world class speed if you don't know you assignments. That's the main problem right now.........

It would be interesting to see how many offenses that we’ve already played in ’08 have less experience than does our D. Our issues on D aren’t primarily experience, talent, or injuries. It’s 99.999999% coaching. Why not compare the ‘03’s “experience” with this years’ D?

I’m pretty sure UF’s offense is younger than our D.
