Will they put a 1-loss LSU team over USC if they win out? That is the question. I don't see how they don't

This is something that you won't have to worry about unless you think LSU will go undefeated the rest of the way. You don't believe that do you? Do you?

Doesn't matter what I think, its what I wish. And thats what sports is about.

USC lost to a team that at that point was 1-2 .. went 0-12 the year before .. and was playing without their TRUE FRESHMAN starting quarterback with just two starts under his belt .. you don't know when has his typical inconsistent true freshman game was/is coming .. and the QB that played for USC was the starter coming out of spring practice ..

Waiting for the people to complain that we should be ahead of USC because we beat the team that beat them.

I heard a national radio show this morning and the guy was discussing that very thing. Its not something I will complain about, but it is a valid point. This host was saying that USC would be ranked up high because of he media love affair with pete carroll, not because of the merits of USC's team. In fact he was saying USC year to year is overrated.

I'd put Iowa above us so #11 would be fine with me. We have a lot of big games left to prove if we are Top 10 team !!

Could it mean the Media & Networks want the East Coast/West Coast matchup deal they've been talking about since early 2009?

Can't Complain...

If we win out, we're in the NC game. That's a Mount Everest size IF at this moment, though.

Take a week off, fix the mistakes, and get ready for a tough Auburn team.

USC also lost to a team that has 3 loses, one of those loses came when LSU went into their backyard and spanked them.

It really doesnt matter, LSU still loses 3 possibly 4 more games

I am not sure if those mistakes are fixable this season. This team's offense appears to be snakebit. The QB is not getting it done, the line is not getting it done, and the running game is screwed even though there is outstanding talent on the field.

We impressed the sportwriters and the coaches with our D last night. Our O needs a lot of work. I like our chances with everyone but Bama.

We're still ranked higher after this one loss than we were when we were undefeated after week 1 (ranked 11th), so it's not all that bad. LSU's still got some respect...outside of this board, I mean.

Was LSU supposed to stay in their position after losing?

It never happens, but YES there is a rational argument. If the #1 team beats the #4 team, isn't that what was supposed to happen? So because we lost to the best team in the nation, all of a sudden Boise St, TCU, etc, etc, are now magically better than us?

I never believed LSU was #4, mind you. I'm just ranting about the inherent fallacy in the polls.

+1. Check with me isn't working. Plays aren't working. Arguably three of the best receivers in college football aren't getting the ball. Time for Miles to do some soul searching.
