It’s not a safe playcall when the RB hasn’t run it in over a year. Believe it or not , but both ends of the snap are pretty complicated if you aren’t used to it. Doesn’t matter if you are under center or shotgun. Add in the cadence and it’s a recipe for disaster unless you constantly practice and run it. I bet TDP has taken less than 20 snaps in wildcard during the last 18 months —including practice.

Now we want Ed involved in offensive play calls?

You have to blame the OC for even putting TDP in that position... he's not used to catching snaps.

The same Rantards who are melting over the OC calling "something different" are all over this board howling that offensive play calling is "too predictable."
not when nuss completed two really nice balls and seemed to be in a rhythm. It is incredibly stupid to take the ball out of his hands in that situation. Peetz is the worst OC I may have ever seen and calls like that prove it

Peetz shook the 8 ball and it told him what to call

Wtf

17-3 and that game was over
Enough with the hindsight on this. If TDP had simply fielded the snap and then run in for a score, everyone would have been agog at "finally" getting some "creative playcalling" or whatever.
