Steve wants to win first and foremost. He does everything he can to put us in position to do just that.

Still underappreciated and I have NEVER understood why?
Anyone care to give it a legitimate shot as to why?

Every single show I've ever heard people talk about LSU, Joe Brady is called the OC. If Ensminger had any kind of ego, he would be furious.

You notice after the game O said that E called a hell of a game. Not Brady, but E. Yet, you have dumbasses all over this board that think Brady is calling the plays. At least, when the plays are good.

Every time we slow this offense like we did when we went 3 and out three times in a row to start the second half, that is E trying to slow this team, probably at the request of O. When we started playing Tempo again, we started scoring again. Brady taught us how to run this offense and that is tempo. I hope they saw that after they almost let bama come back. If they would have got that onside kick, we may have lost. We need to play tempo like Brady intended.
Now I do appreciate E and thank him for his service. But E ran the offense last year and it is nothing like what Brady has installed. It needs to be ran like intended with tempo.

Lmao. Right on que. You can't make this shite up. We didn't go conservative at all. Joe missed some passes that he normally makes..and he also had a delay.

It's amazing how many people form opinionsbased on what they want the conclusion to be.

Oh I don't doubt it. Even when on national TV O is praising E for calling a great game. You guys are a special kind of stupid.

I love Slinger, but damn I wanted to strangle him last year.

but this can't be said enough.

Setting the ego aside I'm not suprised at all. The man will do anything for LSU to be successful and it has never been about him.

And even though I wanted to strangle him... sleeping on his office floor, 18 hours (or more) days. Worrying himself sick. He needed help. And when he got it, he made the most of it- for all of us.

Now, he's got one last task and then LSU can find him a near-no show job at TAF for a ridiculously high salary for the remainder of his life. His last task is to return the favor to Brady. Brady imparted on him the techniques and knowledge of how scheme this offense. Now Slinger must impart on Brady the ins-n-outs of game planning, how the recruiting game works (at this level), his contacts at the high schools. Not that CSE needs to do that to earn his spot in Tiger lore, but that would damn well cement it.

I have no doubts that is exactly what's been happening since May.

I know Mr Steve although I haven't talked to him in years. He's a good ole baw and doesn't have a big ego like a lot of coaches.
