That's not necessarily true. That's like saying ww is the best coach in the NCAA and that there aren't any coaches out there that couldn't have recruited as well or coached better. We don't know that just because our last coach was terrible.

We don't make the tournament with this team it's going to be one of the more under achieving teams ...right under 2016

The same coach who is the blame for LSU being #6 in offensive efficiency. why is it so hard to get it through your thick skull? Just because the offense doesn’t look like it did in the 80s, does not mean it doesn’t work. It works. We could literally have 0 assists a game and the offense could still work. You play to what your players strengths are. This years LSU teams strength is getting matchups and going one on one a lot. You know how we get those advantageous matchups? Schemes by the coach.

Oh you’re right, that’s how all the good teams play today. Gonzaga, Baylor, Alabama, Texas, Texas Tech, I could go on and on do not play one on one drive and step back 3 ball.

The team has not had a win versus anyone who is worth a damn this year and is squarely looking at losing 5 out 6 by end of next week.

No matter what era of basketball, not passing and taking shitty shots will make you a very mediocre team.

Bracket Matrix has us in 74 out of 78 brackets. I don't think we are in for sure but from my point of view we are in. But what do I know I'm just a casual fan giving my opinion on a message board.

What’s it gonna be after losing to Alabama and Florida this week, and still with games versus Tennessee and Auburn left (at Arkansas and at Miss St won’t be gimmes either) - without Days for many of these games.

When the season is done, they are likely to not have many, if any, marquee wins and will likely miss the tourney. That’s atrocious for a team with this level of talent.

The bench is non existent, they don’t rebound well and they don’t pass the ball - it’s a very bad recipe and the fault lies with one man - the Pear.

if you look at the box score and washed everything else, you’ll see that this team actually played better on defense and rebounding they went after loose balls they did things they hadn’t done in 3 games .

The team played better on defense primarily due to Wade going straight man to man. Good for him to make the change; however, our rebounding, particularly in crucial moments, is terrible.

The biggest issue in this game was that tech on Watford. That’s it.

Biggest issue was rebounding, playing out of control on offense and not being able to inbound the ball

Let's wait and see what happens. Right now are chances are good, if we lose like you say than no doubt we don't make it. But have some faith in your team.

The problem is having to say he needs a lot of help on the bench. A totally competent coach in X’s and O’s and knowing the intricacies of the game doesn’t need a litany of coaches.

Don’t forget how bad we were before wade took over.

More Pump Nut Pablum accepting low standards of excellence and mediocrity.

Trent Johnson and Johnny Joneshoyang were basketball equivalents of Mike Archer and Curley Hallman.

Will Wade is Gerry DiNardo; much improved with flashes of brilliance, but can't play Defense and too stubborn to make changes.

"Wadenardo" aint flying anywhere close to the Saban stratosphere as many saw him as a young basketball version of Nick. That image is quickly dissolving.

They could play with just about anybody if they were disciplined, fundamentally sound and better coached.

To be unranked with no quality wins is unacceptable for this years team. And I’ve been a huge WW supporter.

Actually rebounding was still terrible ( no fundamentals ). On loose balls, they made effort until it seemed contact was imminent and they pulled back ( not many laid out or hit the floor to win possession of the ball) and the more aggressive TT player got the loose ball several different times. Their is a lot of laziness on this team and they depend too much on just trying to outscore their opponent. A lot of this falls at the feet of WW.
