How about we not call for a coaches head after losing to a top 10 team. Yes we should have won but this place is miserable after any loss.

Realistic finish is probably 4-4 in this stretch. Only 2 "easy" wins (UGA/Vandy) though. It will be interesting. If we finish 15-9 without any big wins, I can't see this team making the tourney.

Ok, maybe Wade cost us that game.
But as I’ve said before LSU has the potential of making the tourney again. So assuming we made it last year. Wade has missed the tourney once while he has been at LSU. (his first year) It was an outstanding season if we made the tourney, now at worst we are a bubble team every season. I’ll take that every day. Wade should stay the coach. LSU is not a powerhouse basketball team but some fans on here have those expectations.

I’m not saying fire him. But it’s obvious his in game coaching is suspect. He can name every analytic but he needs big time help on bench.
Unfortunately this team doesn’t look like it’s headed for the tourney. That’s 4 years and crazily he still will have not coached a NCAA game as coach of LSU (not all his fault)!

I remember Bill Russell doing a TV game after his coaching days. Team called timeout near end, camera is in huddle. Bill says watch this. Coach draws up the set he wants. Team goes out, ignores instructions, first guy to catch it chucks it at goal from 25 feet or so. Russell says "and that's why I quit coaching"

I had season tickets last year---it used to DRIVE me nuts to see Wade standing by the scoring table drinking water or whatever it is in that cup he drinks out of during time outs and the team was in a huddle. They were huddled up and Wade wasn't even talking to them. You can't see that on TV but in the PMAC you can. He would walk into the huddle for the last 5 or 10 seconds of the time out. Hopefully he has changed.

Bracket Matrix has us in 74 out of 78 brackets. I don't think we are in for sure but from my point of view we are in. But what do I know I'm just a casual fan giving my opinion on a message board.

I always thought Dale Brown was the worst in game coach ever, but he's been replaced. Wade has to be leading the nation blown leads. Should be a new NCAA statistic category.

The same coach who is the blame for LSU being #6 in offensive efficiency.
why is it so hard to get it through your thick skull?
Just because the offense doesn’t look like it did in the 80s, does not mean it doesn’t work.
It works. We could literally have 0 assists a game and the offense could still work. You play to what your players strengths are. This years LSU teams strength is getting matchups and going one on one a lot. You know how we get those advantageous matchups? Schemes by the coach.

Our offense is offensive to say the least. Decent teams get ally oops and lay ups several times a half, we don't because our players haven't been taught team ball. It's a mindset. How many assists do we average a game?
