Florida's offense looked okay with Trask against Tennessee, but ... Tennessee. I need to have more than that to be worried about the Florida offense.

Trask threw 2 picks in that one.

Their defense is very legit but however their offense is not very good.

Defense is going to have to step up and make some stops because Auburn has the best defense LSU will face in the regular season
Auburn's offense is not good. They have two players that could have big games if we're not careful, but their offense as a whole is horrible.

I'd be shocked if we're able to gash them for 40+ points.
If you go look at the statistics, Auburn isn't really better at ANYTHING LSU's defense is except for run defense and they are only better by 10 yards per game. LSU actually gives up less yards per carry and only one more TD than Auburn.

Off topic, but funny thing is that after looking at statistics, LSU's defense isn't bad at all. It's not LSU standard, but literally the worst stat is the scoring and passing defense (as far as yards go). LSU's pass defense is entirely skewed by playing Texas. Once LSU plays the more below average to mediocre teams on our schedule, it will balance out. The scoring D is also literally just Texas. We are not going to face an offense remotely close to Texas outside of Bama and Utah St (Utah St doesn't have the horses, so it will still be a blowout). Every other offense we play during the regar season is either mediocre or below.

I still think LSU will finish with a top 15 defense

AU negotiated a new extended contract with Gus Mal this summer. A considerable increase on him to produce as coach was included in the report. ESPN

Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn agrees to new deal

Prepare to be shocked. We will score 40.
We will not let up either, if they get in a situation where they are demoralized and pissed, we will not let up. We can’t, unless we put in backups.

I agree with this. I think the key with Auburn is get get up on them early and make them play from behind. They are a more one-dimensional Texas IMO. They can win with ball control and defense, but if they have to throw it, they are screwed.

Anyone who thinks Auburn is going to let LSU walk over them is mistaken. It will be a tough win for LSU.

I’m fine with LSU having 8 more “tough wins” this season. GEAUX TIGERS

Need our starters back.

Queen, Phillips, and Clark have struggled at reading blocks and linemen and getting in position to stop the run. Vandy had some huge runs where the linebacker got sucked in and blocked easily.

Once again let's talk Utah state it's the f@#kin next one ! Utah St does have the horses !Their QB has passed for over a 1100 yrds with plenty of TDs in 3 games! Their RB is averaging over 100yrds a game and the defense is good !They've only lost to ACC's WF who is 4-0,1-0 in conf beating NC !Their lose was by 3 points at the end of the game! Points is the only stats that matter in the end ! Bama so far will be the best defense will play on our schedule only giving up 43 in 4 games , Auburn has given up 63 ! Once again Florida has only given up 44 , ...Reality !

That was after 2017, when they beat Alabama and won the West. It’s something that was a big source of regret last season on The Plains.

As to the OP, it’s been 20 years since Auburn won in Death Valley.

That isn’t coming to an end with Joe Burrow at quarterback.

Yep, the extension doesn't mean his job is safe. He's under more pressure than ever.

Two things:

1. Home game
2. We should be healthier than we are now by that game

This year. Their defense is legit.
I have strong hopes Aranda will get ours together over the next 2wks.

Auburn at Florida will be an interesting prequel though. Folks seem to think the Gators will be a walkover for AU. I don't.

Start your own thread telling others they should start their own threads ! My post touch on the subject matters in this thread ...! Lol by the way Utah State went 11-2 last year and finished in the polls ranked 22 , it's the next game and who knows, they might be as good as Auburn , yet we're talking them already lol...
