What does the rotation look like for the 3 games?

Poche in game one.
String it together in game two.
Lange in game three.

There's almost zero chance of this playing out like that.

Does a pitcher generally only need 4-5 days of rest before starting another game?

I thought this at first but it's much better to go Poche, Lange, Gilbert. Hopefully none of them get in trouble so we won't have to go deep in the pen

4-5 days is pretty standard. The only reason college pitchers rest longer in the regular season is because the games are on weekends

Lange on Tuesday would be on 3 day rest. I doubt it

It honestly makes me laugh to see some of the posts on here. People don't have a clue.

I mean, if not Lange then Peterson? That would be pretty crazy.

Faedo just did today. I think if we lose Game 1, Lange 100% starts game 2.

Who to start game 2 then? Especially if we lose game 1. U would rather start pederson in game 2 and "save" Lange for game 3 that may never happen

But if we win, do we still pitch Lange game 2? Because Faedo would probably be in for game 3 if it comes to that. Do we try to avoid that situation or try to rest Lange and win with bats and have them duel if it comes down to it? Or throw Lange and try to avoid it altogether knowing if we don't get the win there it's gonna put us in a deep hole?

Either way game 1 is a MUST WIN

Tweets from media with Mainieri tonight say he may hold Poche until Game 2. Lange will only play Game 3.

Seems like the plan may be to try and steal Game 1 with Wholestaff but it's not confirmed yet.

Unless it's to close out a national title in relief, no. Even then, I doubt it
