It doesn't matter who the QB is. What you've seen is what you'll get, regardless of who is under center.

Harris isn't the answer. I can give two shits what people say about him and his talent. He doesn't have the accuracy nor the will to make a play out of nothing. He can't scramble, or throw on the run, or throw deep or throw short. So yeah please start Etling or Scott

some people say it's 100% the system fault. the system sucks but maybe another QB in there can throw some more accurate passes? won't know unless you try. Saban isn't afraid of switching QB's in the middle of the game.

They've been through like 9 qbs since les got here. 3 have been good, and jimbo fisher was responsible for 2 of them.

What do you see that makes you think it's Harris? He flips it back to buga pretty well IMO

I'm no fan of Les, but stupid threads like this make it clear Les is infinitely smarter than posters like the OP.

Harris isn't the problem. Harris did okay after he settle down. He still had some big mistakes, but he's far better than Etling.

Joe Montana himself could not run this offense the way Miles wants. This O is a QB killer!

you are a dumbass. you are so much in love with some other system you lie like a dog. joe montana was a pro and this is the fricking system he excelled at.

When will you fools realize, the problem will not be solved by starting yet another QB.
We have seen 2 QB's since Mett left. We can afford to see another.

One with a little bit of accuracy would be nice.

Agree it's Miles plan. But Harrris was god awful Saturday. Throwing off back foot and specifically to the defense. That's on him

Just like...

Jefferson couldn't be worse than Lee

Then

Lee couldn't be worse than Jefferson

Then

Mett couldn't be worse than Jefferson and Lee

Then

Jennings is gonna win 6 Heismans

Then

Harris couldn't be worse than Jennings

you people are fricking clueless.

What the hell has Etling done that makes you think he'll be more accurate in his first game?

Besides, wouldn't you rather Harris get back to getting confidence IF they even let him throw more than 15 times?

Instead of just throwing Etling in there, who I know a lot of people think is great (for obvious racial reasons), for his first game?

Theres nothing that Elting has ever done that makes me think he'll be any better. He was behind Harris for a reason, and he was benched at Purdue for a reason.

Just because he's the same skin color as Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Aaron rodgers, does not mean he's going to play anything like them.

NO ITS frickING NOT.

You show your lack of understanding of the game of football with this statement.

If hes asked to take the snap under center, turning his back to the defense after the snap for a 7 seven step drop back, HES GOING TO THROW OFF HIS BACK FOOT.

This kid grew up as a QB in a shotgun-spread system with 4 wide a lot, and an empty back, and he is clearly NOT comfortable throwing from seven step drop backs and taking the snap under center.

Add in that he has only 1 or 2 options to pass 80% of the game, its obviously going to be a disaster.

Remember Lee always throwing off his back foot??????? How the frick do you think that happened? Same thing here.

Its the SYSTEM. EVERY-SINGLE-THING is the system, or a symptom of the system.

either a QB is accurate or he's not. even with shitty play calling if the QB is accurate it's going to work out more times than not.

Why don't we put the blame where it really belongs, OL and WR. The OL's best block of the game was Boutte's clothesline. Harris ran for his life almost every pass play. They only played 2 WR's yesterday. Two tall WR's at that! The passes were high because that's what you fricking throw to tall WR's! Way too many drops of passes right in their hands! Bench Harris?? Hell no!!
