Sure, LSU has it happen to their recruits as well, but not nearly on the level that it magically happens for Alabama recruits. It's almost like the recruiting services base their rankings on whether or not N$ extends an offer to the recruit in question, and whether or not said offer is committable.

But I digress... yes, stars in general do matter... but not nearly as much as recruiting players at positions of need that have the physical skills and mental acuity to do exactly what the coaching staff asks of them in their respective play styles and schemes.

No, actually it’s looking like it’s going to finish in the top 10 with 2 or 3 five stars and 2 or 3 highly ranked 4 stars. Kinda like a top 10 class that addresses every major need that we have. Ask Les Miles from 2012-2017 about how useful it is to get top 5 recruiting classes that don’t address any of the team’s needs.

This recruiting class looks pretty damn solid and is a refreshing change of pace from signing every 4 and 5 star that we can get our hands on as early as possible in the process without taking position or need into account a la Les Miles. This is a Les Miles caliber class but wait, our head coach actually recruited top offensive and defensive linemen this year to go with top DB’s, top RB’s, and top WR’s, along with the excellent LB’s and QB’s that he recruited last year. It’s almost like there’s a rhyme or reason to this recruiting class and people aren’t smart enough to take a step back and evaluate that!

Just admit that you don’t keep up with recruiting and move along with your passive aggressive pivoting bullshite.

You clearly started this thread as a jab at Orgeron and our current recruiting class given the fact that you started it on the Tiger Rant. So why? No one gives a shite about your uneducated opinion regarding this recruiting class aside from the people who flat out want Orgeron to fail and will throw kids who are devoting 4 years of their lives to our school under the bus to make it seem like he is.
