Spacex hasn't received subsidies. It contracts with the US Government to provide services and, unlike most government vendors, it has an extremely high success rate of meeting or exceeding the contractual terms.
Are you perhaps thinking of the Tesla/ EV tax credits? You can hate on the EV tax credits and the forced fuel economies etc. Many people do. However, these are, for now, different companies with different histories.
