Hmmmmm, I don't recall him beating buffoon Miles even once in like 4 or 5 tries.

He quit after LSU beat him up with Miles as coach.

Spurrier is one of the greatest coaches ever.
Changed the way the entire SEC played and defended college football.
Amazing he only won one national title at Florida, same as Miles at LSU.

Anybody with a swinging d$&k would have won a championship with Saban players. Plus they wouldn't have neede a miracle ( 2 losses ) to do it.

We beat his South Carolina team every time. Idiot he is. What else do you expect from a grown man who wears a visor?

It's a shot at LSU. He is still so bitter that we passed on him as HC. He would never say that shite down here south, never!

He certainly should know...definitely lost his share with good players. Maybe he should have said 'and still not win every football game'...or 'all you Gator fans know about that'.

He's entitled to his option but we kicked South Carolina arse last I recall....let him comment on that

frick him. 10/13/2012. That was his last grasp at greatness as a coach. And he floundered.

Came in TS as #3 and got his Visor shoved up his arse.

I always list that game as one of my favorite wins in TS that is rarely discussed "Top Wins" conversations.

Last time Spurrier trolled Les Miles he paid for it with Roxy. The look on his face was priceless.

Hmm. Les Miles was 3-0 vs Shiny Pants -- and made him quit within 24 hrs. Reckon Spurrier wasn't coaching much of a football team.

It's just that he couldn't "win" the games that counted, the big games that make you champion of the country like Saban has done at Bamey.

So, the old ball dick should just stfu and go away, go play golf somewhere. He's irrelevant now and I have no ideal why he feels the need to take a shot at LSU. He couldn't win in S Carolina all those years he was there like he did in Fla, but Dabo sure has. Dabo is king in S Carolina !

Well, winning the games that counted is really the point isn't it. (Although, in fairness he did win two SEC titles.)

He lead SC to three consecutive 11 win seasons which is better than SC had ever done and won 5 consecutive games vs Clemson.

The fact is that the truth hurts. LSU has plenty of folks in the NFL, is widely praised for it's talent but has been mediocre recently.

Spurrier is a legend. He dominated the SEC for the better part of 10 years. I still think he's a douche in many ways but he was a helluva coach.

Frankly, he simply wants to be relevant right now, and he is not. He always was a bit of a provocative prick.
