You’re the one trying to defend 2/10 as some above average number.

You said he was above average.

I Showed you he was slightly below.l league average (including Vandy who is a statistical outlier) I showed You that 8/14 teams are doing better than him.

You’re the one defending 2/10 as above average. He doesn’t pass the eyeball test, his numbers are meh. And this is his strength as a catcher.

I retracted awhile ago and said it appears as if he was actually just average. You seem to continue to want to argue your point, that you don't have,. Why? I have no idea. Maybe stop arguing in extremes. Would probably be a good start

I’m always willing to belabor a point.

And originally injust said Travinski isn’t a good catcher and you chose to argue that point with me with a pretty vague response.

I asked What you meant and pointed out his weaknesses and then you decided to defend his average ability to pick off runners.

I’m always willing to go down a rabbit hole but dont try and high road me from in the rabbit hole.

Like you never explained what you meant by “ But he is perfectly capable at handling a staff and the running game.”

Vague response? I literally singled out your saying he couldn’t throw anyone out. That’s it. It wasn’t vague. It was actually the opposite of vague. You, predictably, said he was bad at everything (see: arguing in extremes). I pointed out he wasn’t poor at throwing, to which others agreed, and you, again, just couldn’t handle any modicum of disagreement. That’s on you bud

Maybe because I didn’t say that. You’re responding to two different people here my man

Ell and I are not the same poster. HTH

What do you think you’ve been doing?

Like I said, I don't Mind arguing. Great way to waste some time. But why pretend like you aren’t?

Like you said, this isn’t even you’re argument

This is the part where you say “my bad,” not try to crawfish and make a very poor attempt to gaslight

I’m not gaslighting you.

You just think that.

And, yet, he’s barely playing. Weird flex on the BA when you missed so far on how much playing time he would get.

He’s getting plenty of PT. Not as much as many thought but he’s getting in games. 17 appearances with 2 starts. Just fewer ABs.

Fair point. He is playing, just not starting much.

I’d rather you make a thread about it like Gio last year. Will be easier to find

He’s coming in usually after Neal AB in the 5-6 inning when we don’t think we’ll get another go around the lineup unless things are really out of hand.

Not sure why you are strutting. You quoted Lester saying he won’t hit .240 in SEC play. We haven’t played a SEC game yet.

4 games left in the month. Does he drop 80 points in that time frame? He would have to go 0 for his next 7. There are 6 games left in the month so good chance he gets that many ABs. 5 SEC games and 1 OOC.
